Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026
Use evim.ca for your own registered business
Your site may promote only your own real estate business, under the registration that was checked. Don't create a site for someone else, and don't present yourself with a name, title or brokerage that isn't yours.
No fake or misleading listings
Show only properties you or your brokerage are entitled to advertise, with accurate details. Don't post listings that don't exist, that you have no right to advertise, or that mislead people about price, condition or availability. Show sold or leased properties only with the seller's or landlord's consent.
Respect other people's rights
Upload only photos, text and logos you own or have permission to use. Publish a client's testimonial with their name only with their permission. Don't publish anyone's personal information without a lawful reason.
No discrimination
Don't use your site, your listings or your lead form to discriminate unlawfully against anyone, for example on the grounds protected by human rights law.
No spam or abuse
Don't use lead forms or emails sent through evim.ca to send spam, and don't try to get around our limits, security or registration checks. Don't upload malware or anything that harms the service or other people.
What we may do
If content breaks this policy, we may remove it, pause your site and, if needed, close your account. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why first. To report a site, use the "Report this site" link in its footer or write to support@evim.ca.
